Kindeswohl und "Frühe Hilfen": Der Beitrag der Frühförderung

Abstract / Description

Kindesvernachlässigung ist - in der Folge des Todes von Kevin in Bremen - bei uns zu einem gesellschaftlichen Thema geworden, mit fachlichen wie politischen Dimensionen. Der mögliche Beitrag der Frühförderung ist dabei kaum zur Kenntnis genommen worden. Dabei hat sie viel Erfahrung mit der Entwicklung von Kindern in Risiko-Konstellationen, sowohl in der Diagnostik, wie in der Intervention, und auch in der Vernetzung von Diensten und Angeboten. In die jetzt unter dem - genuin in der Frühförderung geprägten - Begriff der "Frühen Hilfen" versammelten Initiativen wäre die Frühförderung substantiell mit einzubeziehen. Schlagwörter Kindeswohl - Frühförderung - Prävention - Intervention - Vernetzung
Child neglect and maltreatment is - following the death of Kevin in Bremen - a major theme in german society. The improvement of prevention has a professional as well as a political dimension. In both fields, the possible contribution of early intervention services is hardly recognized. The experience of these services concerning the development of children in high risk constellations, and their diagnostic, intervention and networking techniques are a major Plus of early intervention programs and should be integrated in "early aid" - initiatives which are actually brought up.
