Abstract / Description

Kriminalprävention an Orten gehört zu den klassischen Feldern der Kriminalprävention. Straftaten haben stets mindestens einen Tatort. Aber auch unter dem Gesichtspunkt von Furchtorten und Verwahrlosungserscheinungen im öffentlichen Raum („Incivilities“) sind Orte kriminalpräventiv relevant. Während die anglo-amerikanische Kriminologie die Kriminalprävention an Orten fokussiert, enthält die deutschsprachiche Literatur weitaus weniger Material hierzu. Daher hat der Bandherausgeber im Jahr 2013 ein Seminar „Kriminalprävention an Orten“ durchgeführt und in diesem Zusammenhang einschlägige Seminar- und Studienarbeiten ausgegeben. Sie sind in dem Werk dokumentiert Es will dem bestehenden Informationsmangel begegnen und zu weiteren Untersuchungen bzw. Projekten mit Kriminalprävention an Orten anregen.
Crime prevention at places is one of the classical fields of crime prevention. Offenses always have at least one scene of the crime. But also from the point of fear places and neglected areas in the public space ("Incivilities") places are relevant for crime prevention. While the Anglo-American criminology focuses on crime prevention at places, the German literature contains much less material. Therefore, the volume editors conducted a seminar "Crime prevention at places" at Tübingen university in 2013 and gave out seminar and study work in this context. They are documented in this book. It wants to fill the existing lack of information and stimulate further investigations or projects in crime prevention at places.
