Inhalt: Grundkonzepte/ Deskriptive Statistik: Beschreibung von Daten durch Tabellen, Grafiken und Kennwerte; Kreuztabellen; Korrelations- und Regressionsrechnung/ Einführung in die Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie/ Inferenzstatistik: Stichprobentheorie, Prinzip des Hypothesentestens, einfache inferenzstatistische Verfahren (z- oder Gauß-Test, t-Tests, Korrelationstest, Chi-Quadrat-Tests). Zielgruppe: StudienanfängerInnen der Fächer Kommunikationswissenschaften, Soziologie, Psychologie, Medizin.
